Automation System
Automation system makes it possible to adjust setting points
simultaneously by using servomotors (21~29 axes depending
on the specifications) Basic adjustements are completed
in several seconds after inputting book size information with Size
Input Device(SID).Fine adjustments are made by manually,
if necessary. |
■ The book size information is input by SID and
transferred to the Perfect Binder.
■ Setting points remain in the same positions by the
brakes of Servomotors.
■ Cleaning function works for papar dust and oil scum. |
■ 300 Pre-set functions and Production control system.
■ Remote control system for troubleshooting is provided as
an optional equipment.

Side & Bottom Pressing Station
The Powerful Pressing unit makes a square shape of book spine
regardless of the thickness of book blocks.
■ To paste a book cover to gathered signatures in the correct
position, two different Cover registering units are provided as
standard equipment. The mechanical Cover registering unit
which runs together with Clamp rotaion pastes a book cover to
gathered signatures in the correct position without a
margin of error.
■ The pressure of the Pressing unit can be controlled during an operation. |

Clamp Station
The strong clamping and precise chain rotation make a beautiful
square forming for the book spine
■ Parallel clamping with rack gears. The average pressure of
Clamping is 120Kgf.
■ Smooth 2-step clamping by the unique Cam motion works better
for burst bound books and thick books. |

Cutter Station
The miling cutter, Notching cutter and Roughening cutter are
provided as standard equipment, The large sized cutter (400mmΦ)
cuts the edge of signatures perfectly regardless of the thickness of
gathered signatures.
■ One touch operation for changeover from burst book binding to
perfect book binding.
■ Notching cutter runs synchronized with the machine speed. |

Gluing Station
Large sized Glue roller (162mmΦ) apply glue on a book spine
Perfectly. Especially better for burst bound books and thick books.
■ Automation system controls the length of gluing and the
amount of gluing. Fine adjustments can be made during
an operation.
■ Glue pot for EVA can be switched to Glue pot for PUR easily
with a trolley. |

Cover Feeder Station
Rotary Cover feeder which runs smoothyl under various conditions
such as curled book covers can feed even the gate-fold-covers
properly. Stream feeder is provided as an optional.
■ Automation system controls the width of the guides even during
an operation.
■ Scoring rollers scores 4lines on a book cover. |
