Auto-tuning
The auto-tuning feature improves responsiveness through an inertia-identification function based on a new algorithm.
It allows five types of auto-tuning characteristics to be selected and 30 steps of responsiveness to be set, and it includes a parameter auto-save function.

User configurable parameters allow you to switch between control modes for torque position or velocity.

Integrated controls make it easy to set and modify parameters on-site and to perform system monitoring and alarm tracing.
Test Operations (JOG Functions)
Built-in JOG functions can be used to check connections between the motor and amplifier, and testing can be performed without having to make connections to higherlevel equipment.

The SANMOTION R series has IP67 protection for improved endurance in adverse operating environments.
Internal Dynamic Brake
The internal dynamic brake provides emergency stop capability. Dynamic braking sequence parameters are open for configuration.
Internal Regenerative Resistor
An internal regenerative resistor (option) absorbs regenerative power during motor deceleration. An external regenerative resistor can be added if the capacity of the internal regenerative resistor is insufficient.
Rapid Response
A 4th-order notch filter for reducing phase delay suppresses resonance in the mechanical system and improves speed-control responsiveness of the equipment.
Faster Positioning Stabilization
Adoption of a new algorithm significantly reduces the position stabilization time of the equipment
Vibration Control
Feed-forward vibration suppression can control mechanical end-point vibration and equipment vibration through simple adjustments. Four types of frequencies can be selected for suppressing vibration.
Command Follow-up Control
Employing new positioning and velocity control units, positioning follow-up control is increased by 2 times compared to current models, and position deviation ¡Ö 0 is achieved.
High Resolution
Support for encoders up to a maximum of 17 bit (131,072 divisions) is available for high resolution control.
Setup Software
Make parameter settings, view graphic displays of motor position, speed and torque waveforms, and perform system analysis with setup software.
Simultaneous Monitor Function
The set-up software allows up to 15 amplifiers to be monitored. This can be used to monitor wave forms in synchronized operations.
Expanded Power Range
The newly redesigned magnetic circuitry delivers higher instantaneous stall toque and rotation speed for a wide power range. Maximum instantaneous stall torque improved by 5% to 26%, and maximum rotation speed is increased from 5000mm-©ö to 6000mm-©ö compared to current models.
Low Cogging Torque
Using our proprietary technology, the motors low cogging torque delivers smooth rotation that is ideal for high precision processes and vibration-sensitive conveyer application.
Full-close Control
Supports full-close control using information from a linear scale and high-resolution encoder mounted on the load side (option).
